My Business Trip to Cebu...

May 23, 2006...

Took the first flight to Cebu. Didn't get much sleep considering all the preparations I had to do last night for the business trip (schedules, reports, etc.). I tried catching up on some sleep during the one hour flight. PAL Fiesta Class is ok considering that the flight was a short and comfortable one. It's a first flight in, last flight out affair so things were going to be hectic.

First off was meeting up with one of my bosses at the Marco Polo. After a quick breakfast, we headed straight to the the first of two projects we were supposed to visit. Not much has been done yet here but it had a view of the sea that looks promising. Its even got a 102 year old lighthouse, baby! I hope things will look as beautiful as I've seen on plan.

Next up was a quick lunch and off to the fringes of Cebu City where we were supposed to meet our clients to start-off the next project involving an extension to an existing mall. Let's just say that a lot of study and planning has to be done if this will ever be done to the client's schedule.

The flight back was delayed and uneventful. Ended up getting home late with the management's expectation that I'm early the next day as if my trip was just that ordinary. =P

this humble poor digital artist would like to ask for permission to paint that picture of the lighthouse. if it pleases the photographer.

:P

p.s. too bad you couldn't stay and take another picture of it during the afternoon and the evening.
