Slow Saturday...

Saturdays here at the site are usually slow. Work on site is proceeding at a slow pace due to the weather. Smells like rain soon...

Eventhough engineers here are busy at work on their progress reports, its on Saturday afternoons like this were we allow ourselves to relax a bit, even kick the volume of the radio a notch higher.

Cueshé's playing in the background... singing one of their songs depicting some lesson or harsh reality of life. People here take turns surrendering to its lyrics and lip sync like the tragic Pinoy rockers that we are. Yeah, I allow them to give in to this simple guilty pleasure, provided nobody else outside the office sees us of course. All work and no play makes me a dull manager. ;)

"i'm not ready for this."

Was able to leave the office relatively early (if you call leaving the office at 6pm on a Saturday night early). Too bad I wasn't able to catch the boys at play at UP, but they were nice enough to wait for me and head on to dinner...


Went to Bite Club. Hunger made me slow on my feet and ended up capturing a photo of just the aftermath. Splurged on a 1/3 pounder with mozarella cheese and bacon bits alongside REAL potato wedges! I felt like I could hibernate after that. I guess rushing to meet up with the boyz was worth it. Time to head on home early.

Tomorrow's gonna be a great day. Cause I said so. Peace.
