Nothing really spectacular about March 1 in my life. Maybe the extra turn on the watch one must take to change the date from "28" to "1"...
This year, March 1 is Ash Wednesday, which marks the first day where Catholics observe 40 days of the Lenten Season. Received ash in Greenbelt chapel. People still go about their business and fit right into the hustle and bustle of work, unrest, etc. but still observe a sense of unity in observance of this day.
